Who Is Freddie Benson

Freddie Benson, aka Freddie, is Carly's next door neighbor (he lives in the apartment acorss the hall) that happens to have a huge crush on Carly. He is the technical whizz kid for his, Carly's and Sam's web show, iCarly. Freddie would do anything for Carly because of his huge crush, but Carly only sees Freddie as a friend for now. That doesn't stop Freddie from trying to please and impress Carly, and to be constantly jealous of other boys in Carly's life..

Freddie also has a love-hate relationship with Sam (Sam Puckett), who happens to be Carly's best friend. Masny believe that eventually Freddie and Sam are going to have a dating thing, but that is only speculation. For now, Freddie and Sam have a long-running feud.

Freddie's mom is a bit of a nut and constantly embarasses Freddiein front of Spencer and the girls.

The girls have admitted that Freddie ia an important part of the show.
