Miranda Cosgrove, the iCarly star, will be making her way to Australia to appear as a special guest star at the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on November 13, 2009!

Miranda was quoted as saying that she was very excited about the trip to Oz.  She was quoted as saying “My friends and I look forward to Kids’ Choice Awards each year as we just love it, so to be traveling to Australia for the first time makes it even more exciting! I can’t wait to meet Australian kids and be part of the show… I just hope I get slimed while I’m there!”

Miranda is nominated for her a KCA in the “Fave International TV Star” category, up against Drake Bell, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez and the show iCarly is up for “Fave Comedy Show”.

A Miranda Cosgrove movie is now available on DVD in stores.   Wild Stallion is  a movie about two girls who are friends and go out on a mysterious adventure where they uncover a sinister plot.  The one girl is a Tom Boy and loves horses.  This character is played by Danielle Chuchran.  Miranda Cosgrove plays H the film. Chuchran said she plays the character, CJ, in the film, who is the horse crazy girl and a ton boy. iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove plays Hannah Mills, who is CJ’s friend.   The film was shot in Mount Pleasant in Sanpete County in Utah.

According to Celebrity Gossip, Miranda was spotted on Sunday (Oct. 4) with her tutor.  Come on Miranda, studying on a Sunday?  Wow.  According to Celebrity Gossip Miranda was looking cute and casual as she prepared for a marathon study session.    Apparently Miranda doesn’t seem to mind pre-calculus as she tweeted “Just finished 4 hours of Pre Calculus at the library! It’s actually not that bad.”

Apparently there is a Teen Vogue Party this Friday, September 25, 2009.  Miranda Cosgrove tweeted today “Went to a fitting for the teen vogue party on Friday! It’s gonna be so funn”

On examiner.com it was recently reported that Miranda Cosgrove delighted hundreds of fans by signing autographs and meeting them. But we’ve learned firsthand from our devoted readers that while the event sponsored by People magazine may have delighted hundreds that it apparently upset just as many!

Here are but a few of the comments that we have received about the Bridgewater Commons Mall signing event-

“Just wanted to let you know that you have alot of disappointed kids out there today who did not get to see Miranda Cosgrove at the Bridgewater Commons Mall. I was #240 out of about 3,000 people and wasn’t able to get in. The function was poorly organized and not enough security. Unfortunately, alot of parents are going to be boycotting the I-Carly show because of this, whether it was their fault or not. Luckily, my 4-yr. old is still too young to be traumatized by this, but there are alot of kids that were yesterday. Just wanted to let you know.”

“this was the worst event i went to. we waited 5 hours and didn’t even get to see her. People magazine did a horrible job organizing this event. there were sooo many little girls crying bc they waited hours and didn’t see here. security was horrible and people were cutting left and right. Pathetic!!!!”

Sounds like People Magazine did a horrible job setting up the event.  We wonder what they have to say about it?

New Jersey iCarly and Miranda Cosgrove fans, put it on your calendarS.  Miranda is coming to Bridgewater Commons on September 13, 2009!   The ever popular teen star will come to the mall and sign autographs for fans on Sunday from noon till 2:30 pm.

According to news soures the mall has become an iCarly pop center in anticipation of her arrival.  This Miranda Cosgrove / iCarly meet and greet is being hosted by People magazine to kick off its special issue foucsing solely on Miranda Cosgrove and iCarly!  Miranda will be siging autographs at the new P.S. from Aeropostale.

In two star studded special episodes, Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Victoria Justice, and other Nickelodeon stars will join in the fun as they play the game, “Brain Surge”. 

BrainSurge is packed with fun-filled challenges that have kids test their level of recollection and attention skills while having a ton of fun, and, kids watching at home can join the in on the fun by going online to play games that will help them get ready for the games on the TV show.

How the Game Works:
