Miranda Cosgrove, the iCarly star, will be making her way to Australia to appear as a special guest star at the upcoming Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on November 13, 2009!

Miranda was quoted as saying that she was very excited about the trip to Oz.  She was quoted as saying “My friends and I look forward to Kids’ Choice Awards each year as we just love it, so to be traveling to Australia for the first time makes it even more exciting! I can’t wait to meet Australian kids and be part of the show… I just hope I get slimed while I’m there!”

Miranda is nominated for her a KCA in the “Fave International TV Star” category, up against Drake Bell, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez and the show iCarly is up for “Fave Comedy Show”.

Jennette McCurdy reports on her blog that she got sick right after the Kids Choice Awards – sorry to hear that Jennette.  She must have been pretty sick because she didn’t blog at all last week!

She reports that she had a big blast at Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards – “I always watched with my older brothers and the KCAs have been a big, annual, family event for us! So to be there and have iCarly win an award, and to stand on the stage looking out at all those smiling, screaming faces, I thought, “Now that’s dreaming big, and the feeling of a big dream coming true.” ”

Jennette was very excited about iCarly winning - iCarly won for best TV SHOW!!!!!!!!! WOOTWOOT!!!!!! Thanks to all of you who went online and voted for iCarly. Your votes were much, MUCH appreciated by the whole cast and crew!”

She loved the factthat Ben Stiller and OWen Wilson presented the iCarly award – “COME ON, CAN YOU THINK OF ANY TWO COOLER PRESENTERS?!?! They were absolutely hilarious! Owen Wilson was quite dreamy… his eyes had this spectacular twinkle about them. And Ben Stiller was my very first celebrity crush from way back when I was about 6, so it was a big deal meeting him…. ”

She reports that she had a big blast at the parties – “Anyways, KCA’s were a blast! The pre-parties on Friday night were tons of fun! I went to all three with Ashley (Argota). We just stayed at each one for about twenty minutes and then moved onto the next. By the end of the night, we were covered in light-up necklaces, rings, and sunglasses. I have some hilarious pics of that! Oh Ashley… )) . And then the big ole after-party on Saturday night was fun as well! It was great meeting all of the kids – as always!”

She mentions how great thw Waters family was for raising money for the charity ”Cody’s Off-Road Ride to Survive”.  You can check the charity out here - www.thecodywatersfoundation.com

She thanked everyone for their support of “So Close” (Jennette its a great song!), and reported that she’s working hard on the album. 

Finally, she reports that she is at friendly war with Matt Shively – aka “Ryan” on True Jackson VP – a dream BIG war.  Don’t worry, we’ll keep watching YouTube to see what she brings out!

Yeaahhh for iCarly!  They won Favorite TV Show at the Kids Choice Awards just liek they should have!

Now if Miranda Cosgrove wins Favorite TV Actress it will be a sweep for iCarly.
