Anyone interested in obtaining the movie “Minor Details” where one of the stars is Jennette McCurdy here it is -

Selena Gomez celebrated her record release with a launch party dancing it up.   Onitsuka Tiger hosted the Sunset Boulevard bash and made sure every guest, including our very own Jennette McCurdy and other well wishers, went home with the right size of the popular fashion sneaker.  It was a sneaker bash!

Jennette McCurdy has a new movie coming out called Minor Details.  One of the other stars of the movie is Savannah Jayde Gipson.   Minor Details is about four teenage girls who attend a plush and prestigious school, Danforth Academy.  The girls are struggling for their own identities among the other well-to-do and popular girls at the most popular school in town.   The four girls become friends and through their friendship become well known and develop a reputation as sleuths.  When a stange illness hits the entire school, the four girls must come together and find out what and who is behind it.  

Minor Details will be released on DVD on October 13, 2009.

Jenette McCurdy has made her way back from the land of Country Music – Nashville.  She tweeted last night and today that she was on the move early and very tired.  Here are her tweets in sequence -

Wow getting up at 4:00 am is rough and traveling all day.  Isn’t it interesting how just sitting can tire you out?  We’re glad you’re back Jennette!

Jennette McCurdy has been in Nashville for almost a month writing songs for her upcoming album with Capitol Records.  This is an excerpt from her blog:

“I’m here blogging from the hotel room I’m staying at in Nashville, Tennessee… the same hotel I’ve been at for a month now. This is the longest I’ve ever been away from home (with my mama, of course)…..I am honored to be on the Capitol Nashville label. Every member of the ‘CapNash’ team is so gifted at what they do. Once again we’re writing about Jennette’s generosity and support of a charity – she really is quite an amazing young lady. Jennette McCurdy was one of a number of celebrities that attended a 2 day, Baby and Tween Celebration LA that was held on April 25-26, 2009.

At the event, Jennette and the other celebrities were able to personally deliver their signed puzzle piece over to Baby Swags at their exclusive lounge: The Rockin Lollipop Lounge. Each celebrity that attended the event was photographed holding their puzzle piece. Baby Swags received over 40 celebrity signed puzzle pieces to show support for Autism Awareness and the charity ACT Today!. Some of the other celebrities who supported the activity were Tiffany Thornton and Allisyn Ashley Arm from Sonny With A Chance, and Jennifer Stone from Wizards of Waverly Place.

It was recently announced by Kmart announced Jennette McCurdy, the 17 year old star of iCarly and singer, is the celebrity behind Kmart’s ”Be a Schoolebrity” back-to-school sweepstakes.   Jennette will show up at the grand prize winner’s school to surprise the winner.  Jennette will then go with the winner on an ultimate Kmart shopping spree   www.kmart.com/schoolebrity

Jennett McCurdy recently posted to her blog that she wants to thank everyone for helping her reach 100,000 twitter followers, 100,000 youtube subscribers, and 1,000,000 views on her “Home Sweet Home” video.

Jennette also posted that she was bummed to learn that the producers of the Teen Choice Awards actually pick the winners and not the kids’ votes. The producers pick the eventual winner! Doesn’t really same fair does it?

Jennette says that she is planning on hitting Nashvile several times while she’s off from iCarly to sing and record songs. She also says that she is going to be working on a movie too. We’ll try to get some details on it.
