Selena Gomez celebrated her record release with a launch party dancing it up.   Onitsuka Tiger hosted the Sunset Boulevard bash and made sure every guest, including our very own Jennette McCurdy and other well wishers, went home with the right size of the popular fashion sneaker.  It was a sneaker bash!

A Miranda Cosgrove movie is now available on DVD in stores.   Wild Stallion is  a movie about two girls who are friends and go out on a mysterious adventure where they uncover a sinister plot.  The one girl is a Tom Boy and loves horses.  This character is played by Danielle Chuchran.  Miranda Cosgrove plays H the film. Chuchran said she plays the character, CJ, in the film, who is the horse crazy girl and a ton boy. iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove plays Hannah Mills, who is CJ’s friend.   The film was shot in Mount Pleasant in Sanpete County in Utah.

According to Celebrity Gossip, Miranda was spotted on Sunday (Oct. 4) with her tutor.  Come on Miranda, studying on a Sunday?  Wow.  According to Celebrity Gossip Miranda was looking cute and casual as she prepared for a marathon study session.    Apparently Miranda doesn’t seem to mind pre-calculus as she tweeted “Just finished 4 hours of Pre Calculus at the library! It’s actually not that bad.”

Jennette McCurdy has a new movie coming out called Minor Details.  One of the other stars of the movie is Savannah Jayde Gipson.   Minor Details is about four teenage girls who attend a plush and prestigious school, Danforth Academy.  The girls are struggling for their own identities among the other well-to-do and popular girls at the most popular school in town.   The four girls become friends and through their friendship become well known and develop a reputation as sleuths.  When a stange illness hits the entire school, the four girls must come together and find out what and who is behind it.  

Minor Details will be released on DVD on October 13, 2009.

Recently Nathan Kress spent some time with MediaBlvd.com about the success of iCarly, how he landed the role of Freddie, a guest role he had on Drake & Josh, the Nickelodeon Cruise, how filming of iCarly works, about handling school. Nathan’s favorite episode, his relationship with Jennette McCurdy, and other prjects he would like to do.

According to JustJared Jennettew McCurdy recently told them that in an upcoming iCarly episode it will be revealed that Sam used to compete in beauty pageants!   It seems that Sam had this arch rival that is trying to win her 100th pageant and Sam sends Carly into the pageant to compete with the girl to knock her off.  But Carly can’t compete and Sam has to step in one more time!  Will Sam win or will she go down one more time to her enemy?  Sounds like a great episode.
